Staying Ahead: Frontera Hosts Expert-Led Training on Windthrow Management for Coastal BC

Frontera remains at the forefront of ongoing professional development, consistently keeping on top of new policies, procedures, and developments within the industry.
In May 2022, the guidance document on windthrow management for coastal BC was updated, including new assessment forms. Frontera, alongside Chartwell Resource Group LTD., hosted a one-day training workshop to be informed of these updated procedures. The workshop was led by Ken Byrne and held at Malcolm Knapp Research Forest on July 31st, 2023. As a contributing author to the updated guidance document, Ken Byrne is a knowledgeable expert in the field of windthrow, helping our team alongside many other forestry professionals remain up-to-date on current best management practices. Frontera is grateful for the opportunity to learn from industry experts like Ken, and apply this important knowledge in the field.
