Jen Clement

Jen graduated from the Forest and Natural Areas Management program at BCIT. After spending many years working in the film and music industries, it was BC's worsening fire seasons and a (healthy) obsession with wildfire that led her to pursue a career in forestry.

Before joining Frontera, Jen worked for BC Timber Sales in Kamloops as a resource assistant. It was through that experience that she discovered her love for silviculture, going on to receive the Coastal Silviculture Committee Award.

At Frontera, Jen collects data and assists with writing for Community Wildfire Resiliency Plans, fuel management prescriptions, and fire and fuels monitoring projects. She is also a Local FireSmart Representative, and visits communities to help with their neighbourhood recognition programs.

Outside of work, Jen loves hiking, camping, finding secret swim spots, gardening, fly fishing, and bird and reality TV watching. She also plays in two bands!
