Jen graduated this year from the Forest and Natural Areas Management program at BCIT, and has plans to return to school to pursue her RPF designation.

Before joining Frontera, Jen worked for BC Timber Sales in Kamloops as a resource assistant. It was through that experience that she discovered her love for silviculture, going on to received the Coastal Silviculture Committee Award in her second year at BCIT.

At Frontera, Jen will be doing field work collecting data for community wildfire resiliency plans, and fire and fuels monitoring plans, among other things. She recently became a Local FireSmart Representative, and will be visiting communities to help with their neighbourhood recognition programs.

Outside of work, Jen loves hiking, camping, finding secret swim spots, gardening, fly fishing, bird watching, and reality TV watching. She also play in two bands!
